Salvage

Not all has to be lost. Breathe some new life into those tough spots to find the treasure.

We find it fun and rewarding to maintain some original character when the opportunity is there. So let’s start early by finding those original elements to build on and highlight.

back barn

do you tear it down?
....just cleaning it up, brings a little charm.....
....add a pool.....
.....and enjoy your reclaimed space.....
.....however, it is structurally sound, so.....
.....but more work, now provides some shade by the pool, feed storage and stalls for 3 horses.....
.....let's use what you have to keep some character.....

three chimneys

unfortunately, the termites had already got to it, but....
....the rock footings and three chimneys were still solid, and....
....outlined a pretty neat spot, for....
....day or night.
you can test your green thumb, and....
....enjoy the spoils of your herbs and vegetables, before.....
....telling stories by the fire

old well house

it hardly appears to be an inviting structure, but.....
....it became a complementary spot to house the pool pump and fun floats, while....
....helping define the whole property

root cellar

what do you do when its so low slung and half rotted out?
.....build on top and create some new space....
....for a garden shed, while....
....you keep the cellar functioning, and....
....it all fits well within the reclaimed property.
